Ana
Goldberger was born in 1947 in São Paulo, where she continues to reside.
When she was young, she studied with Yolanda Mohalyi and Antonio Vitor, both
prominent Brasilian artists. An artist of multiple interests and mediums,
she has produced woodcuts, tapestries, and etchings, as well as book jackets
for Brasilian publishing houses. Since the mid-1980s, she has devoted
herself almost exclusively to painting, in a sensual style that recalls the
warm luminescence of stained glass. Her paintings can be found in many
Brasilian and foreign private collections. Her work has been featured in
individual and group shows in Brasil, Paris, Portugal, Germany and the
United States.
